Article Type: Editorial From: Gender in Management: An International Journal, Volume 26, Issue 7

As many of you will now know this is my final issue as editor of Gender in Management: An International Journal. I have worked on the Journal for the past 11 years and feel it is time to hand over the role to someone with new ideas and perspectives. I am delighted to announce that Adelina Broadbridge has agreed to take on the role of copy editor. She is eminently qualified for this role, with an international reputation in the area of Gender and Management, and has worked extensively in the area, founding the Gender in Management Special Interest Group almost ten years ago. Sharon Mavin will remain as editor responsible for the promotion and expansion of the Journal and I am sure that together they will continue to develop the Journal and increase its quality and standing within the academic community.

My time working on the Journal has been extremely important to me and it has enabled me to work with the top academics in the field who serve on the Journal’s editorial and review boards. It has introduced me to a wide and valued network of researchers in the area and I have enjoyed an excellent working relationship with all the staff at Emerald, especially Nancy Rolph the Journal’s managing editor. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of you, you have made my time as editor thoroughly enjoyable and deeply rewarding.
