AdVal Group plc has announced a joint development and marketing agreement with The Unipart Group of Companies to produce a series of interactive multimedia training products. The agreement follows the raising of substantial funding by AdVal to develop an e-publishing business.

Under the agreement, AdVal and Unipart will jointly develop and market a series of interactive multimedia training products under the brand name Momentum. The products are aimed at the corporate market and will ultimately be available in both on-line Web-based and CD-ROM versions.

The first product, Marketing Sustainable Change, is an interactive learning product that aims to assist companies in enhancing business performance through change.

Dennis Quilter, Chief Executive of AdVal Group, said: "We have worked closely with Unipart to develop a product that directly tackles the issues around inevitable change in today's increasingly competitive world. Unipart are recognised leaders and AdVal also has a strong line of consulting business in change management This product focuses on processes designed to increase productivity and profitability; equally important, it communicates how to deal positively with people so that change is created and sustained.

"This programme is the first in a series of Web-based and CD-ROM titles we are developing with Unipart. We are also in advanced discussions with other partners to utilise AdVal's software and multimedia expertise to develop additional sector specific products."
