AST to drive continuous employee development

AST Group, a leading South African information-technology solutions company, will deploy Saba Enterprise Learning as its corporate learning platform.

AST owns and operates technology infrastructure and offers a diversified and comprehensive range of IT consulting and delivery services. The company selected Saba as part of its objective to consolidate all its learning and human-capital development projects and adopt a comprehensive blended learning approach to employee development.

In the first phase, AST will use Saba Enterprise Learning to consolidate, centralize and automate all learning activities to help to reduce the costs of administering a learning environment. Eventually, AST plans to give all employees access to this system to manage and plan their individual development needs in association with their respective managers, based on their individual performance contracts. AST will have access to detailed reports and tracking on individual progress throughout its employee base.
