IMPCO Technologies has confirmed that the new facility for BRC products in Manaus, Brazil has now reached full capacity production. The state-of-the-art 75,000ft2 building houses manufacturing lines for a complete range of clean burning gaseous alternative fuel products for motor vehicles. The facility is currently producing 120,000 vehicle kits per year. Products are being exported throughout South America including Argentina, which has the world's largest number of alternative fuel vehicles.

The $500 million potential alternative fuels market in Brazil is among the fastest growing worldwide. With South America's largest vehicle population of over 30 million vehicles and major air pollution problems, the government is promoting the use of clean burning compressed natural gas (CNG) in vehicles. The price of CNG is less than 55 per cent that of gasoline.
