Print me

eOffice has installed four PrintMe wireless mobile printing units from Electronics for Imaging (EFI) into its London Office. Established a year ago, eOffice claims to be an entirely new concept in the serviced office sector. The company provides a high tech, professional environment that offers a wide range of plug-and-play solutions, including hot-desking, high-tech conferencing, virtual offices, and dedicated workstations to travelling business executives, SMEs (small or medium enterprises) or other freelance businesses.

Since PrintMe stations can be connected to all printers, the initial investment in adopting PrintMe’s mobile printing technology is said to have been both easy and affordable. Clients can now print their urgent documents to any of its four PrintMe-enabled printers, without the hassle of having to connect to the printer with cables or install the specific print driver.

Clients simply upload documents from their laptops or PDAs to the PrintMe Network, which is accessed through a simple on-line process found in the Services section of the eOffice website. These documents can be printed immediately, or securely parked on the network until such time as the executive wants to print his or her documents. The documents can then be retrieved from any one of eOffice’s PrintMe-enabled printers by entering a personalised security code into the keypad of the PrintMe station located next to the printer.
