Changing image

Back at the ranch we have been having some major building work done. Although the traditional image of building labourers is one of men leaning on their shovels or brushes, I have to say that the team involved in our work has worked astonishingly hard to meet a very tight deadline. It’s good that one’s old and tired stereotypes are challenged now and then. The thing to do at such a time is to consider those stereotypes that have not been challenged and challenge them explicitly oneself.
