We all know that by and large; “you get what you pay for” … anything good costs money. However, it does seem that there are compelling reasons to “build green” by increasing the efficiency of buildings and their use of energy, water and materials.

The US Green Building Council suggests that the economic benefits of building green are reduced capital needs and operating costs, increased property values and an increase in worker productivity. These easily pay for any increased building costs in a relatively short payback period.
