Volvo Construction Equipment Korea received the “Presidential Prize” at Korea’s National Productivity awards. Volvo was praised for its efficient global production methods, innovative technology and skilled employees which all worked together to raise productivity at its plant in Changwon, Korea. Volvo also received credit for its contribution to the Korean economy by employing 18,000 workers, including 180 subcontractors.
