IEA climate change policy database updated
A “comprehensive” online database of national policies and measures to reduce energy-related greenhouse gas emissions in 26 industrialised countries has been updated to include developments in 2003. The database was launched last year by the Paris-based International energy agency (IEA). With the addition of 2003 developments it now includes over 900 policies and measures taken or planned since 1999. The fully searchable database has been visited over 15,000 times since its launch, said the IEA, reflecting its popularity with business and researchers.
