5th International Symposium on Trace Elements in Human: New Perspectives

13-15 October 2005Athens, Greece

The University of Athens is hosting the “5th International Symposium on Trace Elements in Human: New Perspectives”. The meeting is based on the fact that a rapid growth in importance of trace elements in biology and medicine requires a detailed discussion on the recent as well as future developments in this field. The aim of this symposium is to emphasize the influence on trace elements on human health and to find an answer to some of the following questions:

    What are the “human essential trace elements”?

  2. 2.

    How do trace elements act on the organism?

  3. 3.

    Deficiency or increase intake: what will be the consequences for the human health?

The main topics of the conference are:

10th International Metropolis Conference
