A catalogue of Russian technology offers was prepared for the British-Russian Technology Transfer Days held in London on 17-18 November 1997. The technologies were selected by a team of experts from the British-Russian Innovation Centre (BRIC) in Moscow. On the basis of comments from UK companies, the Russian technologists with the most interesting offers were invited to London for personal meetings and talks with British businessmen, BRIC was established as a joint initiative of the UK Department of Trade and Industry and TETRA Consult Ltd a Russian technology transfer and consulting company firm. The 110 entries in this catalogue are arranged under the following headings: Advanced Materials and Coatings; Machine building and Basic Industrial Technologies; Non-destructive Testing; Environmental Technologies; Medicine, Biotechnology, Agriculture; Electronics, Sensors, Telecommunications, Software; Power and Heat Engineering.
