With over 100 systems sold, Total Plant Control's LMS2000 is currently the most popular lubrication management system in Australia. It gives the user within seconds a "complete picture" on the lubrication condition of their plant.

Based on the success of the LMS2000 and their assessment of future needs by industry for a "high degree of job verification", Total Plant Control has developed and are ready to release the SECURALUBE system which operates on a paperless basis.

The SECURALUBE system consists of a MS Windows version of the LMS2000 software, a hand held custom built electronic logging device (E-LOGGER) and minute electronic ID tags (Dallas Touch Ibuttons) which are permanently affixed to each machine.

The Dallas Touch Ibuttonserves as a quick automatic machine identification and as an electronic key that "unlocks" the task designated on the E-LOGGER's large 40 x 4 LCD display.

Unless the greaser physically visits the machine on his round and touches the Dallas Button with the E-LOGGER, he cannot register the task as having been completed.

This feature of positive verification with time and date stamp can be activated or deactivated through the LMS2000 program.

At the end of the week, the E-LOGGER connects via a RS-232 port to the PC. Within seconds, the LMS2000 software automatically downloads the Logger's records and uploads the next week's tasks, including any task that the logger records as incomplete. No manual date entry is required.

For plant managers, the SECURALUBE system's records can be viewed in a number of different forms it is possible, for example, to review the lubrication history of a particular machine or component should premature failure occur.
