PBC‚ BA200 has been specifically formulated to meet the strict requirements of BASEEFA standard SFA 3015 (1994) to give maxi-mum protection against seizure without compromising flameproof protection of electrical enclosures. Effective up to 1,200ºC PBC‚ BA200 protects screw threads, linkages, pivots and mating surfaces generally subject to severe temperatures, salt water, chemical and galvanic corrosion. On threaded fastenings, PBC‚ BA200 is used as an anti-seize compound and torque reduction medium with the added benefit of not over-reducing friction to a level which will encourage fastenings to loosen. The typical coefficient of friction is 0.1 at 20ºC.
