New Commercial Director for Polartech
Polartech Limited, the Manchester, UK, based manufacturer of Metalworking Fluid Additives has announced an important new appointment.
Steve Mayo has joined the Board of Directors as Commercial Director with full Executive responsibility. Having been associated with Polartech since its inception, having been employed by the company since 1990 and having been a full member of the Management Committee since 1991, Mr Mayo has unrivalled qualifications for the role.
Prior to employment with Polartech Mr Mayo had a background within the paint industry and with a specialist chemical toll blender, Mr Mayo is well known within the UK chemical sector, in addition to Polartech's niche area of Metalworking Additives.
The appointment is important to the company, as it is part of ambitious plans to increase its level of investment in its facilities in various countries and to establish itself as international market leader in a number of segments.
