New watermix cutting fluid from De La Pena

Keywords Cutting, Fluid

Specialist cutting fluid manufacturer De La Pena have launched a new chlorine-free cutting fluid, 901Al, which is claimed to prevent "built-up edge", which is caused when aluminium welds to steel under pressure and heat during machining. 901Al contains a newly-developed polymer additive system that provides excellent wetting and lubricating properties without the use of chlorine. This is claimed to increase the efficiency of the cutting action and improve surface finish and dimensional accuracy.
