Elf Oil UK Ltd and Lanstar Ltd have joined forces to combine their mutual expertise to maximise effective re-refining and waste management for industrial oil users. The recently formed partnership was developed following extensive market research.
Feedback revealed that users of high quality lubricants are becoming increasingly environmentally conscious of the need to recycle and re-refine while maintaining their objectives of supplier rationalisation and single sourcing.
Elf Oil UK Ltd is responsible for all downstream activities from the refining of crude oil through to retail sales. The company is renowned for lubricants production with one of the most comprehensive ranges of high quality industrial lubricants, greases and complementary products. Elf's products are also recommended by machine producers worldwide.
Elf's expertise will be complemented by Lanstar's 40-year history of re-refining and ability to return lubricants to their original performance levels through a combination of technology available at its Halesowen site.
In addition, the partnership will offer Lanstar's expertise in waste management, meaning that all waste arising from lubrication or manufacturing processes can be treated, by recovery wherever possible or by disposal, providing for the first time a true cradle-to-grave service.
The service will be sold by the salesforces of both companies, who are fully trained to understand the needs of industrial users. Both companies have extensive development facilities enabling them to meet the most demanding individual specifications and testing routines. On-site technical support is available for all lubricating and waste issues.
