Christison Scientific is proud to introduce the PSS range of Accusizer single particle optical sizing systems. These instruments can count and size particles from 0.5 micron upwards and may be used in the laboratory or online.

Accusizer technology allows the measurement of large numbers of particles, one at a time. It is able to identify "tails" at either end of a particle size distribution and, since the technique builds a distribution by adding measurements for many single particles, it has unlimited ability to discriminate multi-modal distributions and measures a true psd rather than a best-fit guess as used by competing techniques. Included within the range is the Pressurized Automatic Liquid Sampler (PALS) which can be used for counting and sizing particles within viscous and volatile fluids. This batch sampler is very safe to work with and simple to use. It features a unique self-sealing sample chamber, programmable volumetric settings from 0.1 to 100ml per cycle, automatic flush cycle, computer controlled and monitored sample-chamber pressure and corresponding fluid-flow rate. It also has built-in industry standards for ISO, NAS, MIL-STD and NAVAir, and others maybe programmed in to suit individual requirements. Couple this with state-of-the-art counting/sizing electronics and a host of wide dynamic range sensors, and you have a system of unparalleled resolution and accuracy. The software is a Windows-based controller which provides true multi-tasking capabilities, pass/fail alarms, multi-level data archiving and real-time data transfer to popular Windows database and spreadsheet programs. If you are monitoring contamination in hydraulic oils, lubricant oils, oil filters, capacitor and transformer oils, turbines, valves, gears, pistons, pumps, brakes, etc. we can help.
