Are the technical claims valid?

Are the technical claims valid?

Of course it is important that the technical information on the oil container is correct. In the UK there is considerable concern about the incorrect use of ACEA specifications in claims made on lubricant packaging. The BLF have proposed that a change should be made to the ACEA protocols so that any company claiming that its product meets an ACEA specification must be able to substantiate its claim. At present in Europe that onus is on the challenger to prove the oil does not meet the claim made. It will be interesting to see an ACEA response to this constructive suggestion.
