To meet the needs of the lubricant and hydraulics industry De Montfort University at Leicester, UK, are delivering a distance learning course in Lubricant and Hydraulic Technology. This responds to the specialist manpower requirements and technical challenges facing the industry. The course is designed to maximise benefits to both companies and individual students.
The course is a "tiered" Postgraduate Certificate/Postgraduate Diploma/MSc which is carried out using a CD-ROM and Internet based delivery system with four residential weekend workshops per year. The course is suitable for science and technology graduates and also for HNC/D applicants with a substantial level of appropriate experience. The course fee is £2,850 +VAT per level; to include accommodation and meals at the workshops.
