Austrian Federal President honours ITC President
"For his important contributions to science and industry, as related to the Republic of Austria", the Austrian Federal President has awarded the Austrian Decoration of Honour for Science and Art – 1st Class to ITC President, Professor H. Peter Jost (see Plate 1).
Professor Jost is chairman of Engineering and General Equipment Ltd, designer and manufacturer of latest state-of-the-art lubrication systems, known worldwide by its trade name "Centralube". He is president of the International Tribology Council, vice-president of the Parliamentary and Scientific Committee at Westminster and a Member of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Consultative Group on Science and Technology.
