A new full colour catalogue with 100 plus pages is available on the Dichtomatik "O" ring range. This company specialises in the manufacture of technical seals for every application, with stocks held at a network of subsidiaries throughout mainland Europe, Asia, North America and Canada as well as the UK (Plate 3).
The range of imperial and metric sized "O" rings has been considerably extended and covers British, American, French, Swedish and Japanese standards, including both DIN and ISO products. In addition, "O" rings with non-standard dimensions are also incorporated in the range, covering inside diameter dimensions from 0.7 to 1,380 mm, with material cross section sizes from 1 to 20 mm.

As well as information on the range of "O" rings available, the new catalogue also contains extensive information on materials, including the standard elastomers adopted by Dichtomatik for product manufacture. These provide the optimum conditions of hardness, chemical resistance and temperature compatibility which includes food grade and low temperature applications. The properties of several special elastomers are described, together with surface treatments available to reduce friction etc.
Technical information on recommended housing dimensions, together with design, layout and installation guides are provided with dimensional tolerances and other quality assurance details are also included.
