Carbide grinding is the application for which Master Chemical's new TRIM C120 CG has been formulated. Notable features of this new non-chlorinated coolant include low foam, superior sump life, low odour and improved resistance to cobalt leaching.

TRIM C120 CG contains no nitrites, secondary amines and phenolics. It has been formulated to comply with all current and anticipated health and safety legislation and is, therefore, classified as non-hazardous under the new CHIP 3 regulations.

This new synthetic minimises cobalt leaching, whilst maintaining superior cutting and non-cutting characteristics. In common with all TRIM products, C120 CG has excellent resistance to bacterial and fungal attack and can be recycled with good tramp oil separation by conventional techniques.

TRIM C120 CG does not attack wheel bonding systems and although primarily introduced for grinding carbide, it can also be used in the machining of ceramics, chill cast alloys and tool steels.
