Elcometer launch their new range of rotational Micrometers
Elcometer have launched their new range of rotational viscometers. The Elcometer 2300 range of rotational viscometers are ideal for determining the viscosity of liquids that do not depend solely on temperature or pressure. The behavior of non-Newtonian as well as Newtonian liquids can be analyzed.
The Elcometer 2300 range are accurate, easy to use and reliable instruments that can be used in accordance with all relevant standards. Available in four versions the Elcometer 2300, with a measuring range of between 3 and 20,000,000mPa, are available as either manually controlled or fully PC programmable and controllable for automated testing. This allows the user to pre-define and store process variables, such as start RPM, end RPM, test duration, start time delay and temperature, for repeated and consistent testing.
Key features of all Elcometer 2300 Rotational Viscometers include:

A backlit LCD display which clearly shows the viscosity reading in cP or mpa together with spindle rotation speed, per cent torque, sample temperature, auto range, shear rate and shear stress.

An extensive range of accessories are available which enable the Elcometer 2300 to measure materials with a viscosity as low as 1cP, high viscosity materials such as creams, gels, pastes and epoxies, products where there is only a small sample available – up to 2008C.

Each Elcometer 2300 is supplied with the relevant set of quick connect spindles, liquid temperature, TM probe and Elcometer's ViscosityMaster software where data can be stored with associated photographs, test notes and other relevant information.

A range of test speeds from 0.3 to 200rpm.
