NEW from Elcometer – Shade & Opacity Meter in a single gauge
Measuring Shade and Opacity has never been easier with the new 2-in-1 gauge from Elcometer. The Elcometer 6014 is a low-cost, hand-held gauge which is ideal for measuring shade and opacity at any convenient place along the production and finishing lines. The large angled display makes it easy to read from all viewing angles. Measuring shades of paints, inks and coatings as well as transparency and opacity, the continuous read feature makes it simple to quickly check large surfaces. The long battery life allows over 3,000 readings to be taken between charges.
The Elcometer 6014 uses 45/00 geometry and calculates opacity using up to six values over black and white for accurate testing. The gauge can be used in conjunction with opacity test charts and stores 200 readings in the integral memory with statistical analysis. Readings can also be downloaded onto a PC via R5232.
TM Further analysis and reporting can be carried out using the Elcometer Novo-soft Quality Control Software, provided with every gauge.
The Elcometer 6014 Shade & Opacity Meter can be used in accordance with ASTM, ISO and BS standards and has six display languages.
