A new CD_ROM from Fortress Interlocks Ltd, manufacturers of the AMGard2000 range of interlocks, has been designed to simplify the complex process of specifying interlocking safety systems. The CD is intended to help safety engineers design an AmGard2000 system quickly and easily (Plate 4).

Divided into valuable sections which guide and inform, the CD includes an application section that demonstrates examples of the AmGard2000 modules in operation.
Through a configuration section, the CD-ROM enables the viewer to design a unique interlock system to fit the application in question, and simplifies the ordering process by providing a unique product code.
The CD also contains a useful section that provides all of the necessary technical details in a series of Adobe PDF files, enabling accurate product selection through access to clear and concise information on individual products.
Suitable for harsh environments, the AmGard2000 range bridges the gap between trapped key and gate switch technologies, enabling quick and frequent access to machinery and minimising downtime.
