Other useful areas include situations vacant, press releases, a diary of BARA events and statistics. An “Introduction to Robots” a downloadable report contains information on the basics or robots and their functions and applications. The video section contains downloadable footage of robots in actual use from moving beer barrels to baby food, although they may take a little while to download due to the file sizes it makes interesting viewing.

This site has many pdf files to download which makes it pleasant to use as the information can be printed or read offline.

This is the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society's technical committee on Service Robots. Although some areas are still under construction (mainly the technologies section), this site contains details about all areas of service robots ranging from agriculture and harvesting to fire fighting.
