New video heralds 'A vision for change'

New video heralds "A vision for change"

Specialist management awarding body NEBS Management is launching a new training video which contains case studies showing how organisations in the business frontline are achieving real management success. Entitled A Vision for Change, the video will become an essential tool for NEBS Management Centres, consultants and other training organisations involved in running management development programmes.

Two main themes are tackled in this title: how private industry and public sector organisations can become better equipped to cope with the rapid changes in business; and why managers' leadership skills are critical for successful change. Making the case studies live, current and dynamic means that candidates on the route to a qualification can actually see the management techniques that companies are using today.

The organisations featured are BT Payphones, South Devonshire Healthcare NHS Trust, Bristol Community Sports (BCS) and WH Smith & Sons (Tools) Ltd. These four different organisations, in different sizes and types, with their separate objectives and different circumstances, all in some way needed to change. In the video, the positivity of the workforce can be seen as they are directly involved in the process of change within their organisation. This involvement effectively encourages better communication between managers and employees.

The metamorphoses also provide an educational insight, allowing candidates to see how different strategies and approaches to management can both benefit their own individual development programmes and their role in the workplace.
