Solving a capacitated four-index transportation problem

We are interested in the capacitated four-index transportation problem (of axial sum). This problem will serve as a model for the general case (multi-index). After the theoretical study of the problem, we give an appropriate algorithm for its numerical treatment. Some interesting open questions are risen for future research.
