Preface
This special double issue of the journal is the second part in a series that contributes to our increased involvement with management science. Part I was published earlier this year (Kybernetes, Volume 36, Nos 3/4).
We are pleased to publish these contributions and in particular the invited paper of Dr Allenna Leonard, who is a former President of the American Society for Cybernetics, and a Research Fellow of Liverpool John Moores University, UK. As a newly appointed member of this journal's Editorial Advisory Board (EAB), with a special interest in Management Science, she joins Professors Raul Espejo and Marcus Schwaninger in furthering our commitment to the field.
As is our practice we have also included our regular journal sections and a selection of papers that will confirm our aim to publish a wide range of contributions that cover the many facets of the interdisciplinary areas of Systems and Cybernetics.
