A new quarterly journal issued in both online and print was just released in March 2003, The Journal of Digital Information Management (ISSN 0972-7272), published by the Digital Information Research Foundation (see www.dirf.org/jdim for details of this publication and content of the first issue). The DIRF is a not-for-profit organization in India engaged in digital information research, design, creation and structuring of digital libraries, digital content management, digital information processing and related activities and the research groups at DIRF collaborate with many international bodies to perform these tasks.
