Vitronics Soltec names new president, sales director for North and South America

Jeroen Schmits has been appointed president of Vitronics Soltec as of 1 December 1999. He previously served as vice president, Surface Mount Division at Universal Instruments, Binghamton, NY. He succeeds Michiel van Schaik, who has joined the board of directors of a Dutch corporation. Jeroen Schmits will be based in Vitronics Soltec's US operations headquarters in Stratham, NH.

It has also been announced that Marc Dalderup has rejoined Vitronics Soltec, also effective 1 December 1999, as sales director for North and South America. Marc has extensive experience in the mass soldering market, in both equipment and materials. He will also be based in the Stratham, NH operation. In making the announcement, Vitronics Soltec president Jeroen Schmits stated that "We welcome Marc back to Vitronics Soltec, where we know that his considerable experience, energy and talents will be a valuable asset to our team as we move forward to meet the challenges of technology in the new millennium".
