Schlumberger today announced the appointment of Leo van Bree as vice president and general manager for Semiconductor Solutions, Europe. Based in Munich, van Bree is responsible for strategic management, sales, marketing and support for the company's regional semiconductor business. With a background in consulting for the semiconductor industry, including ATE and smart cards, van Bree led Rood Technology, the leading independent listed Dutch testing institution as president and CEO.
A key area of responsibility for van Bree will be the development of SABERSM (Schlumberger Advanced Business Engineering Resources), which serves as the customer solutions integrator for the company's semiconductor business. Staffed by a team of highly skilled experts at three SABER Technology Centres in Europe.
