The Thin Film Division of Mini-Systems, Inc. has announced that their MIL-PRF-55342 resistors now qualify for Life Failure Rate R. This designation indicates a maximum failure rate of 0.01 percent per 1,000 unit hours. In order to qualify for this rating, Mini-Systems was able to demonstrate over 9.16 million hours of successful life testing without a failure.
