Welsh Nutrition Network

The Food Standards Agency Wales is developing a nutrition network to provide health professionals, and other key players with information to improve nutrition, especially in priority groups. The FSA Wales is being advised on the planned network by the Wales Centre for Health (WCH), a new independent body set to provide a national focus for multidisciplinary advice, debate and professional development.

The network will help provide access to information that will assist in improving the diet of the population of Wales and will provide a platform for sharing experiences and supporting communication. The WCH has produced an initial report which features the views of health, local government and voluntary sectors and its recommendations.
