Professor Michael Doyle (University of Georgia) and Tom Humphrey (University of Bristol) were plenary speakers at this two day conference, together with other distinguished speakers. The structured format complemented with displays and practical demonstrations of the most up-to-date technology in microbiological assessments, and collaboration with SfAM enabled a wide range of technical posters to be presented.
