Truvia stevia leaf extract is made from the sweet components of the leaf and are purified to produce a calorie-free sweetener which addresses growing consumer demand for plant-based foods as well as the growing need to reduce calorie consumption. Truvia calorie-free sweetener has a clean sweet taste and a texture and crunch similar to that of sugar. It is non-calorific, non-glycemic and is perfect in a wide variety of recipes, including; baked goods, desserts, beverages and even savoury sauces.

Widely used in the USA since its introduction in 2008 and following EU approval this month Truvia calorie-free sweetener will be available in the UK and Europe in two formats; sachets (each packet equal to the sweetness of one teaspoon of sugar, but with zero calories), or a spoonable jar (sweetness equal to 180 teaspoons of sugar, but with zero calories).
