A new guide to all aspects of UK environmental management law affecting property or facilities managers has been published by the Workplacelaw Network and edited by Sally Goodman of Casella Stanger.

The Guide to Environmental Management Law and Practice 2002 covers many of the current hot topics in property management, including: environmental management systems, contaminated land and brownfield development, asbestos, the climate change levy, hazardous substances, waste management, air quality, water quality, noise and environmental reporting.

The 326-page guide is made up of contributions from leading experts in environmental law and management, including BIFFA, the Environment Agency, Masons solicitors, and Wragge & Co. as well as Casella Stanger.

Sally Goodman who is principal consultant with the Environmental Management, Sustainability & Risk Group at Casella Stanger comments: "There is increasing government and social pressure on organisations to improve their environmental management practices.
