LabSystems, has just introduced version 2 of its interactive CD-ROM, Portfolio (Plate 16). Portfolio is available free-of-charge, anywhere in the world, for use to keep the market up-to-date with current product releases and corporate information.

Version 2 has been issued with major upgrades from the original Portfolio ­ with new interactive sequences featuring the latest in software for the laboratory. Portfolio gives the first opportunity to try out the future of chromatography data systems ­ Atlas ­ which is LabSystems' new 32-bit system.

Thirteen new demonstrations of Atlas in action allow customers and the potential laboratory market to see how easy and efficient this new 32-bit system is to use.

Outlining LabSystems product development strategy, Portfolio v2.0 also includes an interactive demonstration and several videos of the new SampleManager v4.0 which is one of the world's leading LIMS packages. There are opportunities to explore this client/server LIMS which is newly available on Windows™ NT for use in a wide number of industries.

IT specifiers from industries as diverse as process, pharmaceutical and environmental can utilise Portfolio v2.0 to assess LabSystems' suitability as a world class supplier of solutions for laboratories.
