Manufacturer of woodfinishes, Becker Acroma, reports that it has acquired Salford-based Granyte Surface Coatings plc from McLeod Russel. The acquisition confirms Becker Acroma as one of the UK's largest manufacturer of paints, lacquers and stains for the woodfinishing industry.
The purchase of Granyte consolidates Becker Acroma's position in the UK, and substantially boosts its market share in Ireland. With this, Becker Acroma is demonstrating its commitment to the woodworking industry in the British Isles and pledging long-term support to manufacturers. The synergies between the two companies assure customers of first class technology and service support package.
Granyte has a 150-year history in the manufacture of paints, french polishes, stains and woodfillers. Sweden-based Becker Acroma is a global company with an equally long history.
