International powder processing group, the British Rema Group of Companies, demonstrated the full extent of its process engineering capabilities at the recent Powtech exhibition in Nurenburg, Germany.

The Group, includes companies: British Rema Manufacturing, Contract Processing, Thermal Technology, and kiln maintenance specialists. Phillips Rema has recently extended its processing capabilities with the acquisition of Universal Processes and Plant Ltd. Members of the team discussed with visitors its engineering expertise which allows the company to provide engineered powder processing solutions and rotary kiln maintenance throughout the world.

“A large percentage of our customers are from mainland Europe and this was the first time many of them have seen our full engineering and processing capabilities”, said managing director Chris Bird. “This is an exciting time for our Group of companies as we demonstrated our ability to offer the best bespoke equipment solutions and contract processing service to companies across Europe and beyond.”

British Rema has also recently made a significant investment in sophisticated analytical facilities and a wide range of particle size analysis equipment at its new technical centre in Derbyshire, UK.

British Rema is ISO 9001:2000 accredited, a specialist in the manufacture of classifiers including aerosplit, unit air, mini-split and static vane classifiers. The company is also heavily involved in contract processing for UK and European manufacturers.
