This year the conference was packed with the latest information and developments in the industry. There were the first worldwide disclosures of the new Samsung MEMs piezo technology and CIT's conductive ink- jet technology. Spectra provided information on their new M-Class printheads and Xaar and Konica- Minolta also presented their new technology advancements. HP gave a popular talk on the design and performance of all types of desk-top printheads and Sun Chemical outlined their plans for single-pass industrial printing of packaging, following the preview of their prototype FastJet printer at Drupa. Sericol and SunJet covered the latest developments in UV-curable inks, and Web Consulting, IT Strategies, Kornit Digital and CGate provided updates on new markets and opportunities.
