Introduction to insider accounts

We are pleased to have two Insider accounts papers in this issue of QROM. Both of these papers were originally presented as part of a symposium entitled “Current debates in qualitative research in the organization and management field” at the recent European Association of Management Conference in Slovenia.

This Symposium was Chaired and Convened by Catherine Cassell and Gillian Symon and sponsored by the journal. It brought together four papers that collectively address some of the debates currently faced by qualitative researchers in the organizational and management field. The first two papers that follow are Working with stories: diverse tales of organizational life by Paula Hyde and On methods and methodology by Alan Bryman. The other two papers will be published in a later issue.
