Dr Apisit Chattananon as main co-author has co-written a paper on the building of corporate image through societal marketing programs, paper, which is a perfect example of the “main stream” research today.

The other papers are completely beyond this “main stream.” Richard J. Pech and Bret W. Slade have co-authored a paper about the organizational sociopaths, Kirk Frith and Gerard McElwee about the story of a drug-dealer considered as an emergent entrepreneur. Gustavo Madeiro has compared FIFA and Brazil soccer policy according to the key importance of soccer today when Robert W. McGee and Zhiwen Guo have written a paper on the ethics of tax evasion through the comparison of three kinds of Chinese students (law, business and philosophy).

According to the editorial objectives and scope, we consider this issue as completely representative.

For each issue, I try to introduce a short text devoted to an author in coherence with the business and society field. It is clearly the case with Alfred D. Chandler. David Chopin was working on this text when we knew that Alfred D. Chandler has died. Let me have some thoughts about his monumental contribution to this field.
