Providing two-axis angular measurement up to ±80° the DIO1 series inclinometer offers enhanced performance based upon the manufacturers Humphreys' patented thermal accelerometer technology that provides 4kg shock survival and extended life expectancy in the harshest of environments (see Plate 5).

Available from EuroSensor, the European distributor for Humphrey, the DIO1 module features an embedded micro-controller with 16-bit A/D and is factory calibrated over the temperature range -40 to +55°C. Communication interface is provided via a standard Serial RS232 port with no external hardware required. A commonality between the other three devices within the Series (DIO1-0 110, -0145 & -0160) varies only in the specified range, i.e. ±10 per cent ±45° and ±60°; linearity is typically from 1 per cent down to 0.1 per cent depending on angular range. Angular resolution is 0,002 per cent supply voltage 6 -15Vdc, supply current 50mA and weight 150grms.

The module provides a digital capability and complements the company's analogue sensor modules and sensor elements.
