RDP Electronics' new MCL load cell uses the company's proven, patented capacitive technology, to provide highly accurate, non-contact sensing, at a competitive price. Even under the abuse of severe overload and lateral bending, the MCL maintains its performance, as the sensing element measures the deflection of an intemal load ring to its full capacity of ±50kN. The MCL comes in two compact models, with the smaller model measuring only 31mm x 44.5mm (see Plate 11).

Conditioning electronics are internal and fully protected inside the rugged aluminium and steel, IP65 sealed housing. Wide operating temperature from -25°C to +75°C enables the MCL to meet the needs of demanding applications in test and research.
