Concoat has signed a deal with Humiseal to manufactured all its HumiSeal Bulk, MIL Spec qualified and UL-approved protective coating materials for Europe from its Camberley facilities in the UK. This follows a huge £150,000 development programme at Concoat's Camberley headquarters in Surrey, which involved doubling both the space and equipment in its Coating Services Division and the company's material manufacturing and storage facilities. And due to Concoat's strict "never borrowing money" policy, this investment was funded entirely by internal investment alone. In addition to its work to achieve IS0 9001 accreditation, Concoat has also equipped all its board handling areas with the latest ESD protection systems (which also meet the requirements of BS EN 100015-1) and all conformal coating processes are carried out to IPC-A-610A. These now comprise six dip coating systems plus automatic in-line selective and batch spray coating and curing and extensive repair and rework operations. Concoat are also unique in providing fully equipped cleaning, cleanliness testing and circuit reliability testing to the latest manufacturing standards.
