Intertronics have announced their new bench-top dispensing robot (Plate 3) which is both compact in size, and provides a full range of features. The I&J Fisnar I&J2200 has a footprint measuring 322mm wide x 377mm deep, making it ideal for environments where space is at a premium. It weighs 18kg. It is also self-contained, requiring no external controllers. It also features a working area of 200mm x 200mm.

The new robot is designed to dispense liquids and pastes in dots, lines or arcs, with a multi-axis configuration enabling full control over dispensing over three dimensional objects.

Ready to use dispensing software, teach pendant, RS232C lead and memory card for storage of up to 100 programs are all included as standard. Programming is simple, via a multi-line, backlit teaching box. Hardware is also available which enables mounting of dispensing barrels, valves or cartridges to the robot's z-axis.

The I&J2200 is ideal for dispensing epoxies, silicones, inks, solder pastes, adhesives, fluxes, greases, lubricants, potting compounds and many other media. Also available from Intertronics the I&J500 and 750 benchtop models with working areas of 300mm x 300mm and 400mm x 400mm respectively.
