CIL, the Andover based, EMS supplier, has extended the range and capability of its test and product validation department in order to provide customers with fully tested and proved products and increase its level and extent of customer services.
Sales Manager, Chris Heal, said: “Although we still supply sub-assemblies more of our work is becoming full product build where our customers want us to supply complete assemblies fully tested and proved and, in some cases delivered to the end-customer. We now have eight people dedicated to this task all of whom are electromechanical engineers or test technicians, and we are also finding work with product repair and upgrade.”
Product testing covers many platforms including in-circuit ATE, JTAG, XJTAG boundary scanning and optical and X-ray inspection.
