When the chips are down ...
For a number of years, I have used a simple but effective programme on my PC - WinPost. This allows you to create virtual little yellow stick notes that can pop up on your system when you switch it on or when an alarm is due. It does cleverer things than that, but my use of it is very basic. Yet, I still use the paper based notes for really important issues and reminders - they somehow seem to impinge on my consciousness more directly - perhaps the very untidiness of them offends my sensibilities. Whatever ... low technology has its place!
