Ufi Ltd continues to grow its network of learndirect centres with a further 468 available across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Learndirect courses are now delivering IT skills to farmers in Northallerton, eLearning to commuters from Reading station, and skills to football fans in Bournemouth, bricklayers in London and pub-goers in Brassington. There are now over 700 centres with many more to come, offering courses from basic IT through finance and people management to customer care and business communications. The courses are being adopted by many large organisations (such as Sainsbury's) as part of in-house training programmes but their flexibility (in sizing and delivery) makes them ideal also for small businesses.
